On October 8th, Peppermill Projects hosted its first ever Bingo Night! We wanted to plan an event for our clients, family and friends — something a little different than your typical meet and greet or networking cocktail hour. So, we settled on a good ol’ fashioned bingo night complete with cheap beer (there was craft beer too!), boxed wine and bangin’ prizes. In just a few hours, we transformed our working office into a classic bingo hall — Peppermill style.
Guests helped themselves to canned and bottled beer from coolers, wine from the box and cheese popcorn at the playing tables. Huge thanks to our sponsor, Old Stein Inn for donating the beverages. Nicole, our Marketing Strategist transformed herself into the role of a professional bingo caller while our Creative Director, Jenn made sure everyone had a cold drink in their hand. The seats in our “bingo hall” were completely filled and it was extremely entertaining to see everyone so serious and determined to win. Roughly 15 games were called: traditional line, corners, postage stamp and the X, or as Nicole called it, “crisscross.” Prizes included gift cards, a DVD, lottery tickets, Peppermill Projects goodies, tshirts, 6 pack of beer and other fun stuff.
We had so much fun at our inaugural event (and we think our friends and clients did too!), that we’re already looking forward to the next Bingo Night. “I’ve never had that much fun at a ‘networking event!’ You certainly know how to throw a good party, and to build a community out of a group of people,” said Tiffany Rogers of October Productions in a kind note delivered a few days after the event.
We have plenty of “Support Local Bingo” tanks, tees and totes priced at $10. Proceeds from sales will go to the next Peppermill Bingo Night! Sure, there are a lot of other great causes that could use your support, but you can’t go wrong with a game of bingo (prizes and beer). Just leave a comment below or send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org if you would like to “Support Local Bingo.” Also be on the lookout for some more photos and GIFs of Peppermill Bingo Night in action on our Instagram: @peppermillpro!
