Happy Halloween From Peppermill Projects

October 29, 2015, By Jennifer Culpepper

If there’s one “holiday” the Peppermill Projects team can get behind, it’s Halloween. For the obvious reason, the whole day (or week) revolves around candy and other various treats, so of course we’re all about it. However, the creative aspect of Halloween is also appealing to our little team of “creatives.” Sure, the good ol’ fashioned triangle eyed jack o’ lanterns are adorable, but it’s great to see designers, amateurs and everyone in between use their imagination to carve (or paint) into large orange gourds. And, if you want to bring us over some leftover candy on Monday, we will gladly accept. [SEE FULL POST]

I might own “Branding For Dummies.” I’ve watched Simon Sinek’s TED Talk multiple times (if you haven’t yet, you definitely should). I’ve been to conferences, seminars and held conversations with “branding experts.”

The Graphic Designers’ Bad PR: What do you do?

September 10, 2014, By Jennifer Culpepper

When someone asks you what you do for a living, there should be an easy answer: I’m a dentist. I’m a 5th grade teacher. I’m a barista. Some seemingly simple-to-understand  jobs like lawyer have fancy names to explain what they do: Complex Tort Litigator, Public Defender, Ambulance Chaser. [SEE FULL POST]
